A Promising Feng Shui Year Ahead

Feng Shui Master Forecast for Lunar Year 2007

Kuala Lumpur, December 12 - The year of the Fire Boar, the upcoming Chinese lunar year of 2007 is forecast as a year with favourable news expected to echo out like thunder and thunderstorm with those in the right position expected to see a sudden windfall in their fortunes. These predictions came from no other than Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai, renowned Feng Shui master.

Feng Shui Grand Master Yap was addressing attendees at the National Feng Shui Convention organized by HLG Unit Trust (HLG UT) Berhad, together with its bank distributors, in conjunction with the recent launching of the HLG Global Resources Income Fund. The Feng Shui roadshow is being held nationwide from November to December 2006. Invitations were extended to investors who had invested a minimum amount in the HLG Global Resources Income Fund, a global fund focused on natural resources where the fund’s main objective is to provide regular income and seek long-term growth of capital.

Yap, who has some 50 years of experience behind him in the art of Feng Shui also said, “The current rise of the stock markets would continue with real estate sectors likely to pick up momentum.” The Grand Master explained that the new lunar year is helmed between the periods of February 2004 and February 2024, which are known as the Period Eight Houses in the Flying Star system. He said, “The years 2007, 2008 and 2009 are considered to be the up cycle of the eight period therefore favourable results should be expected during these phase.” Generally, he forecasted that there would be nine months promising favourable results and only three months of poor results.

“Prudent forethought should be undertaken to minimise risks of endeavouring into water related business ventures as the forthcoming year has a fire element, which is the opposite of water,” advised Yap. “However, businesses with earth elements, such as mining, plantations, real estate and constructions would flourish in the coming year,” he added. However, he cautioned that gambling activities should be refrained from in the coming New Year as it could lead to unwarranted quarrels and lawsuits. Personal health should also be given attention to as diseases related to stomach, intestines, feet and kidney would easily be triggered. Women born in the year of the Ox would have to pay special attention to their health as they are susceptible to women’s disease.

“The year of the Fire Boar would see young people below the age of 35 benefiting from good prospects in wealth and promotions while those who are 40 years and 48 years would be bestowed with success in all their undertakings and would be well known and acknowledged, respectively,” Yap forecasted.

“This is a general prediction,” he pointed, stressing that individuals should not perceive it to be a personal prediction. The geomancer, also candidly pointed out that to attain success in the coming Chinese Lunar year one has to strive for pure determination and hard work and not just hope to benefit from a windfall of luck.

The Feng Shui master also highlighted that each year certain directions are considered inauspicious because they exert malefic influences. These directions are refereed to as San Sha, Tai Shui, Sui Po and Five Yellow. As the directions and locations change annually, Yap listed the directions and the activities to avoid in these directions for the coming new year.
